This is rare Japanese Washi wrapped tin Tea Canister. It is about 50 - 60 years old. The design of Washi (Japanese paper) has very intricately designed and printed by woodblock or silkscreen printing method, but not offset lithograph. It has printed with several colors. Inside canister with jade color synthetic made knob. The cover and main body match the design perfectly. Please note white designs are more standing out in the photo because of reflection of light, but entire Canister is very subtle (Shibui) color than photo. It is very attractive canister, Please note, the top edge of canister has little worn.
