The size of Bowl 6 5/8" Dia x 2" High. Japanese Ko Imari Porcelain Bowl. The bowl is bit larger than regular Namasu bowl. The bowl has the unusual design of archer sitting at the front of Japanese house with wave design. Arrow hit dead eye center. There are two sections divided by gold decoration of dragon with flower design around. The condition of bowl excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline. There is some of tiny green leaf and purple enamel spots are missing due to the age which often happened. The surface inside bowl has little frits the surface. One kamahi (kiln flaw) line at above arrow design on fourth photo as well as on 5th photo which has completely galzed, and it does not go thru back side which is very minor. None scratch. Not much gold wear. It sit well and well balanced bowl. Almost none scratch. Dating the bowl from mid 19c to little later. (1850-80). Sale $95.00 w/US Priority mail/insured Item was $180.00
