The size of painting: Unframed Sheet-17" x 13", Image area-14 3/4" x 11". Beautiful Chinese original painting on the silk. Silk border. It has paper back. The subject of painting is Mandarin Duck standing at the bunk of waterfont. There is tree with flower on the back and waterfront grass. beautifully painted. The brush strokes on Duck as well as on flower and reed are beautifully painted. It is signed Chinese Kanji letter "Blue, pine". I do not know how to read in Chinese sound, but if I read as Japanese, it will be "Seisho". I had this painting last 45 years when I worked at Importer who brought first shipment of Chinese goods from mainland China in 1972 after Nixon opened embargo from China. This painting was among on first shipment. The condition of painting excellent. One tiny pink spot at right side of signature. Dating pre 1970's.
