The size of Plate: 7 3/16" Dia x 1 1/4" High. Japanese Antique Porcelain Kutani Plate. Plate has four windows of design. One with two male seating at the table, detail gold works. Other with one female poet and two male poet. Two windows with Chrysanthemum desing with fence. Very fine detail works. Nice gold works which photo relly does not cature the whole details gold works. The condition of plate is Excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline from outside force. However, there is called Jikan(Kannyu) which caused by differentiate of temperature when the plate was pulled out. You can see on last photo showing those Kannyu lines front and back. These Kannyu often to see on Kutani pieces. One iron frit on the back. Surface of plate with no scratch. Gold condition kept well. The plate sit well. Dating the plate from Meiji period (1868-1912). It is marked Kutani on the back. This is very last plate we have.
Jikan (kannyu, original kiln hairline in Yuyaku(glaze) when the temperature differentiation between, kiln and outside kiln temperature (air outside, when cold winter time, when Kamadashi time, taking out works from kiln) cause the hairline in glaze. It is not forced hairlines line damaged, rather original kiln flaw.
