The material of vase is crackle glazed eathenware. It is more Satsuma type body but not small crackle as Satsuma. Nice Gold design with the panoramaic landscape painting over the two section of vase. The vase itself is in square shape, but the two handles are located on the corner on each end which make more unique. Well design with the gold works with beaded and moriage gold. It is all handpainted. The backside of vase is with plain finish which give you for the change. The condition of vase is in very good other than noting that there is 4mm long nick on the front bottom corner as you can see from the photo. However, this nick was done before the gold finish was painted on becasue the partial gold is still on the inside edge of chipped area, that is whye they left as is. Some normal wear on the gold around vase top area and handle area. The vase is slightly stand foward. Other than that fine condition. 11 3/4 High. Dating from 1920-30's.
